DATA & PRIVACY

USE PLAYER INFORMATION RESPONSIBLY.

A clear public explanation of the data the programme may collect and why. Final production wording should be aligned with the actual systems and legal advice used by Kickstart.

DRAFT PRIVACY NOTICE

Information collected

The registration and enquiry experiences may collect player identity and age information, school details, parent/guardian contacts, emergency contacts, programme choices, relevant health/support information and communications with Kickstart.

Why information is used

Information should be used only for legitimate programme purposes such as registration, player grouping, safety, attendance, coaching, reporting, school coordination, payments and relevant parent communication.

Children's information

Because the programme involves minors, access to player information should be restricted to authorised people with a genuine operational need. Sensitive information should not be exposed publicly.

Media

Photos and videos should be governed by a separate, clear consent process. A general website registration should not be treated as unlimited media permission.

Retention and access

Kickstart should define how long records are kept, how parents can request corrections and how access is controlled in the future parent, school and administration systems.

Production note

Before launch, this draft should be aligned with the actual hosting, payment, analytics, messaging and database systems used, plus applicable Ghana data-protection requirements and professional legal advice where needed.
